The HR/People space has been the focus of my entire career. I entered the HR field in a high-volume, in-house recruiting role where I learned how to listen with intention to truly understand teams’ needs in order to have productive, candid conversations with candidates. Since 2016, I’ve led HR departments on my own or as head of a small team. Among the many skills I’ve acquired, I’ve learned to listen and observe, seeking to understand the culture and issues before suggesting an individualized action plan.
HR/People has been historically underutilized. HR should work for your business not just be an expense to ensure its compliance. The appropriate strategies and tools will enable you to retain top employees and create an environment for them to make exceptional contributions.
My area of expertise is not rocket science. However, it requires a unique blend of emotional intelligence & intellect and strategy & execution. I believe in a modern approach to HR/People - utilizing technology and human compassion - to make sound business decisions.
